Description
Mediclinic City Hospital offer advanced levels of diagnosis and treatment, ensuring every patient receives the highest levels of JCI-accredited, international-standard healthcare. In addition to a wide range of general services, it also offers high level care in a number of dedicated specialist units within areas such as oncology, breast diseases, cardiothoracic surgery, neonatal and paediatric intensive care and stroke medicine, for which the hospital’s stoke unit recently received accreditation from the German Stroke Society.
The hospital has an extensive outpatient department, 27 neonatal bed, 27 ICU beds, six operating rooms plus three daycare surgery units, one C-section OT, two cardiac catheterisation laboratories, endoscopy suites, a fully equipped laboratory, emergency department, labour and post-natal wards, 24 hour pharmacy and an advanced radiology department.
In 2016, Mediclinic City Hospital extended their facility and inaugurated the North Wing, located directly across the road from the hospital’s main building. The North Wing houses the Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Dubai’s most advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment facility, as well as a number of other units including a daycare surgery ward, dedicated endoscopy suites, extended dialysis unit, rehabilitation physiotherapy services, orthotics and prosthetics services and reference laboratory.
In a number of recent firsts, Mediclinic City Hospital became the first hospital to perform a kidney transplant in Dubai in 2016 and in 2018, surgeons performed the first robotic assisted knee replacement surgery in the Middle East. Also in 2018, the hospital’s orthotics and prosthetics department enabled a double amputee to receive the first 3D-printed transtibial prosthetics in the UAE.

Went to City A&E with an ill child received very prompt service and amazing competent staff including Paediatric dr , Dr
Muhammed Vullyakath and sister Shandy .They both showed compassion and competence and reassured both me and my Grandson Thani through out our stay.They explained everything and managed rhe care and treatment with great expertise. I thoroughly recommend the Hospital.Also the desk staff were extremely helpful kind and empathetic !

Horrible services! Since Saturday I cannot receive any update from the doctors. We paid cash and all they care is money…
Called them 6-7 times to get the recommended prescription, nothing happened. For each and everything you have to call and follow up. Totally unprofessional personal

Having just had a procedure performed at the Breast Radiology dept I felt the need to write a positive review regarding the outstanding care I received.
Dr konstantia and her wonderful team with particular reference to Honey and Vijaya who were very proffessonal, attentive and reassuring .The care was exemplary in everyway!.They also gave me a follow up call you check how I was progressing,which was very welcoming .I Cannot rate them highly enough…thankyou!

I have recently undergone a procedure at the breast radiology department. I felt the need to write and express the outstanding care I received.
The staff were attentive , professional and gave a extremely high standard of care .I would like to mention in particular Honey and Vijaya who gave me exemplary care and even a telephone follow up call to check that I was progressing well .

The staff from reception through to the medical procedure were so reassuring attentive and kind .
Dr Konstantia and her team were extremely competent,proffessonal and patient -oriented.

I want to thank the team of Dr. Speed Rafai who worked day and night to follow up my mother health .
We struggled at the beginning with the nurses but after connecting with Ms. Lori the head of nursing she managed to set a new team to watch over my mother and they were very good.
Thank you city hospital for your services also the home care service were very expert.

Outstanding Doctors and remarkable care
Last year i stayed at City hospital for nearly four weeks under the care of Dr Taohid Oshodi and Dr Amel Ginawi. I was brought in to emergency with a rare condition which was diagnosed by these doctors. They worked in tandem to literally save my life and I have been under their watch ever since, The nursing was dedicated and excellent…the doctors were diligent watchful and left nothing to chance. They had the patience to listen and answer any query…extremely kind. Thank you … I will be forever grateful.
